Biography

            Mysta Legacy is a versatile recording artist/song writer/ professional hats & purse designer and an entrepreneur. Born in Yaoundé-Cameroon, on the 02nd of June 1988, from the family of N.Gur.E And Nsangay Berlinda, and was christened by the name Nsangay Rex Berinyuy. He had his F.S.L.C, G.C.E Ordinary Level, G.C.E Advance Level certificates and a certificate in Management and Leadership in the years 2000, 2006, 2009, 2013 respectively. He started rapping and singing in the year 2001 during club activities in college and was also spurred by legendary acts of the time like Eminem, Craig David, 2Face Idibia, and equally home acts Rasyn Le Rappeur, Bantu-Posi , AK SANG GRAV’ and Big-BZY. He wrote his first song in 2002 titled “Gangsta Party with the name Lil Krey which was not officially released, but made waves in his home city and some parts of his country. In 2003, during a school social, a rap battle contest was organised by a defunct legendary Cameroonian hip-hop group “MOONKOOCHOO”. Where he was crowned “The Best Freestyle Rapper” in 2003, which triggered competition and inspired other young rappers and singers from different institutions as inter-school competitions where organized every school term.
He won many musical contests during his school life in several occasions drawing lots of attention to his career, which was followed by the tragic death of his father and mother. This equally brought lots of drawbacks in pursuing his musical career.
After all the aftermath, he changed his artistic name from Lil-Krey to Mysta Legacy and tamed his music “Soul-Fusion” which is a fusion of melodic soul jam, reggae, hip-hop, afro trap and folklore rhythms with a spirit of positivity and a vision of  hope.
