Born and raised in  Cameroon, Achu Normad's rise to the Cameroon's and world music scene can be summed up as one of talent and grace.

Announcing the enroute album of his protégé and AKUMBA MUSIC RECORDS signee PIJENDA on his Facebook page early 17th of May 2017, Achu Normad have seemingly surprise all his fans, followers and welwishers of his soul-jazzy, world and afro- fusion music world wide, as some have not yet finish degusting his first album "Alieh" that was released early 2016.

But before fans keep anticipating the release of  Pijenda's album under AKUMBA RECORDS owned by Achu Normad , we will love to re-introduce our lovely readers and followers the graceful parcour of Achu Normad who is based in USA and will feature in some songs in Pijenda's album GRATITUTE.
Arriving the USA from Cameroons some few years back, Achu Normad  who sings, write songs, is a solo & bass guitarist happened to meet a good samiratan in a guitar sell house, that listened him play the guitar and noticed his style, gendre and recommended him to his friend that plays his same sound of music. Which is a mix of world fusion, soul-latino, afro jazz and folkloric rhythms from Cameroon (As recounted by Achu Normad ).
And this connection gave birth to Achu Nomads first single  "Ma Yetegho".

And this was followed by the subsequent release  of his first album " Alieh"  that was well received by music lovers world wide and his home country Cameroon.

As he and other home based artists eventfully organized a festival in Bamenda- Cameroon that was well received and appreciated, equally coinced numerous tour dates.
But surprisingly, Achu Normad who is the CEO of AKUMBA RECORDS announced the en route album of his protégé and signee Pijenda as many did not know of this.

AKUMBA RECORDS is a music label platform Achu Normad created to sign, produce and promote upcoming artists. As PIJENDA happens to be one of them with an album release to be announced featuring Achu Normad himself as we await and anticipate the new vibe and energy of Pijenda 💪.
