Gerald T. Nforche is a young talented and prolific Music Video Director, Writer and Graphic designer who hails from the North West region of Cameroon. In the entertainment milieu and social media, he is best known popularly as GeraldrÃco Gúevara.
Narrating how he managed to find himself in the Cameroon's entertainment industry, especially the highly competitive musical domain as a video director, he revealed.
"I have been asked to tell this amazing story of mine, by some people (names withheld).
I was a Cyber Café Attendant and a photocopyist while in My third year at the University...I was actually Studying English, perhaps to become a teacher...
I was already a writer and a published author, by 2011.

He continued;
"I had tons of writings, a few thousand poèms and hundreds of drawings. And I was already contemplating on becoming a full time writer and poet, and this was thanks to My mentor Prof. Labang Wang Kencholia and My genius Sister, Dr. Lum Louisa. But in Camer, the reading Culture is very poor, writers arent respected that much, and few people can survive on writing Alone...so i had to think again and do something alongside that.
I knew actually nothing in Music Vidéos (shooting, editing, directing, lighting) i didnt even know what i wud become two years later".

He has directed a good number of trending videos for Cameroonian artists with acclaimed feedbacks. But according to him, "he is still crafting his art for more best videos gradually, as he perfection his skills".
While adding more light on how he came into shooting and directing videos, he had some tips of insight to shed out to those who have dreams to venture as music video directors.
Here him;
"Two years latér, I met SOMEONE (Small Sea, a very kind and ambitious man) who looked into My eyes and saw fire and the gifts in me, and he handed me a Camera...i then came under the mentorship of #TabiZama, and hé set My first foundation....in a few months, i was already great in photoshop and première pro, editing plateforms."
Though a music video director now, i cant say there has been any successes yet, but an amazing progression has been recorded. I will only mention successes after my videos can compete alongside those of the big Directors worldwide and even after I have brought back an international award home. till then, lets get back to work...".
"And i tell those who wonna venture into music vidéo directing not to hésitate... Use your eyes, watch as many vidéos as possible and try to pick something new, also use YouTube as your library and consult it as much as u can...we cannot tell who will be the best from Camer soon, perhaps its gonna be you...and beliv me, the key to being an awesome music vidéo directing is being a Good music vidéo editor...".

"I was a professional music video editor at NS Pictures for a year and a half, and it has also helped in shaping me today. Régis Talla, My collaègue director was also an editor at NS before becoming a director himself."
He equally had this piece of advice for the youths while citing others;
"This post is to Thank him (Small Sea) for picking up a common boy and making him a somebody, and to tell People to believe in talents...and to invest in them...though its a difficult choice...
B Trunk Nforsooh, Kyrian Hood, Yannick-Noah Agha, Nfon Othniel Nyohfi, Bluejay Kings, Baron Karson, Nforche Gerald, etc...My story is their story too...we had the same fire and the same dreams...and Peezo Peezo, i remember is advice to me two years back...and i live by it today...".
