Controversial Nigerian pastor, televangelist and philantropist Temitope Balogun Joshua (born June 12, 1963), and popularly referred to as T. B. Joshua, has been awarded by the government of Paraguay with the Paraguay's Order of Merit, the highest honour in Paraguay.
T. B. Joshua is known for his popularity across Africa and his online presence with 2,500,000 fans on Facebook and nearly 500,000 YouTube subscribers. Described as the "Oprah of evangelism" and "YouTube's most popular Pastor", Emmanuel TV is Africa's largest Christian television network and the most subscribed Christian ministry channel on YouTube with videos amassing more than 300 million views.
He has been awarded various accolades, notably receiving the Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) by the Nigerian government in 2008 and being voted the Yoruba man of the decade by Pan-Yoruba media outlet Irohin-Odua. He has been called one of Africa's 50 most influential people by Pan-African magazines The Africa Report and New African Magazine.
As of 2011, according to Forbes, Joshua was Nigeria’s third-richest pastor, although the claim was immediately denied in a statement by the church.
But some fews hours back this saturday 12 August 2017, on his facebook page, he posted this;
"In recognition of his leadership and humanitarian works, the government of Paraguay presented Prophet T.B. Joshua with the Paraguay Order of Merit, Paraguay’s Highest Honour to T.B. Joshua. In addition to this honour of privilege, the Board and Members of the Asuncion Municipality declared Prophet T.B. Joshua as an Illustrious Visitor, sealing this off with the Presentation of Honour of Illustrious Visitor and the Key of The City of Asuncion to him."

Well, the journey of T. B. Joshua and the SYNAGOGUE CHURCH OF ALL NATIONS has not been one with a bed of roses, as only a clique on google or youtube of his name, will baffle you as to the rumours, insults, blackmailing, attacks, calumnies, conspiracies and what of you concerning the humble "man of God", whose church has become a touristic and pilgrim ground for thousands and millions of christians around the world. As head of states, celebrities and many big guns parades his church for prayers and so forth. While the Bible says “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.", We can only appreciate and salute the leadership, humanitarian and philantropic gestures of this great man of God.
