The world is a witness to a gradual spark and drastic change of events that unfolds everyday. The Geman's are not left out. As a long heated debate in the German parliament concerning same-sex marriage has break loosed its verdict this Friday 30th of June, 2017.
Yes, it's not a nightmare but an on-going reality. Germany has voted to legalise same-sex marriage. 86% percent of German's voted for and 24% voted against.The bill that was voted in the German parliament gives homo-sexual couples in Germany the same right as heterosexual couples and will allow same sex couples to marry and jointly adopt children (haba).
Eventually, after the official signing of this bill into law, Germany will add up to the 20 other countries where same-sex marriage is legal.
Angela Merkel the German Chancellor who voted NO to this long time brouhaha after a heated debate with the German Parliament last Monday 26th June, came to conclusions that "A VOTE OF CONSCIENCE" be taken as she cried out loud "I hope that the vote shows not only the mutual respect for a different opinions but that this also leads to more peace and social cohesion as well...".
With this said, the vote was carried out through YouGovPoll, and 2/3 of Germans were in favor of the legalization of same-sex marriage.
As thousands of some homo's and heterosexuals who were assembled in front of the parliament received the news with shouts of joy and other's discomfort.
This done, Angela Merkel in an interview made her stand clear "To me and the law, its been all about the marriage of a woman and a man. Thats why i voted against it".
As the roman catholic church in Germany stepped in to made her stance equally that "The German Roman catholic church will not tolerate nor accept same-sex marriage in their premise's".
Well, the increasing pressure under Angela Merkel is evident as the September elections is gearing up. And ther main wing rivals and coalition partners recently announced their support for "Ehe fûr Allie" (Marriage For All).
And what's the word of God or His take (The Bible) concerning same-sex marriage? As He God is a God of peace and love (Not confusion).
👉 Leviticus (18:20) states "You shall not lie with a male as with woman; it is an abomination".
👉Leviticus (20:13) adds up " If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them".
👉 Romans (1:26-27) and 👉 Romans (1:18-32) sheds in more light.
While the BIBLE fundermentally equally states in Luke: 6-37 that "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven".
So notwithstanding, the debate on same sex marriage is still a taboo in some nations followed with severe laws.
So consequently, the brouhaha topic on same sex marriage is fervently on a question mark (?).
