(PROFILE) 📃: MEET AFRICAN KING "BANSAH" FROM GHANA WHO LIVES IN GERMANY & GOVERN'S HIS PEOPLE VIA SKYPE AND PHONE CALLS 👌.

King Cephas Bansah.

Ghana with its capital city in ACCRA, is the first African country to achieve her independence in 1957.
Between the 9th and 11th centuries C.E, Ghana was so rich that its dogs wore golden collars with its horses.

The founding father of modern Ghana was Dr. Kwame Nkruma and fervent activist of Panafricanism.

Nkwame Nkrumah - 1st President of Ghana 1957.

And since then, Ghana has evolved from strength to strength though with the stormy weathers too. Becoming an economic boom and a democratically stable nation.
And the story of king Togbe Ngoryifia Cephas Kosi Bansah is interestingly a one of a kind true fairytale.

The 67-year old king Bansah is a full time professional mechanic, living in Lugwigshafen-Germany and ruling his people via modern means of communication Skype and phone calls.
He is the king of nearly 2 million Ghanaians and Togolese. His kingdom Gbi, is situated at the Eastern part of Ghana on the borders of Togo and consists of the EWE people that are about 300.000 in number.
And despite all the paramount, superior and spiritual authority as chief and his main work as a mechanic! He still find time to govern and give directives to his people via Skype and phone calls.

He spent his time in the oily blue jeans fixing cars though his journey has been a long one.
Cephas Bansah grew up in Ghana and had to move to Germany in the 1970's for studies. His grand father, the then king encouraged him to study mechanics. And after finishing his studies, he gained citizenship, settled and set up his own garage at Ludwigshafen until 1987.
When he received a fax that eventfully transformed his life uptil now. His grandfather, the king of HOHOE had died and Bansah's father and eldest brother were deemed unfit to rule. Because they were left handed. Which the EWE people consideres it to be "unclean". Meaning, that Bansah naturally became his grandfather's successor as new king.

A German photographer Christina Czybik had the opportunity to spent some time with king Bansah at his house and captured some insights into his life, as she had this to say;

King Bansah, Carlo, Katharina & Wife Gabriele.

"Bansah told me that the people of Ghana are very religious. They are mostly made of Christians as others do practice voodoo. He has a small voodoo shrine in his living room with a small handmade sign that reads " Michael shall recover soon and faster". He invited me to join his delegation to travel to Ghana this September. And I've actually booked my flight".

Notwithstanding, Ghana has come of age and development with a good democratic system of government that has been established. As the traditional kings still have an important role and function to play within the communities as caretakers of the people.

Show some love to King Bansah 💓 the android king 😉 lol...!!!
